how will my film impact on the audience. look at the effect on the audience. look at legal issues the film has to address. for example get copyrights permission. age certificate for the film. the BBFC rate the film. British board of film classification. examples from my film on why it is this age

1.The product impact and effect on the audience

these people questions what they see as they do not copy what they see in media product. all these stunts or violence as they see it as a entertainment this is the theory from  David gauntlet 2007
passive
hypodermic syringe model this is the theory form Theodore Adorno, 1930 the media inject a passive audience with negative messages and values. A mass audience they believe in everything or copy what they see a passive audience gets a effect by the media. for example violence, sexual content. so for example the audience will copy and end up with a negative effect.

2.Relevant issues of representation
All representations are mediated (Hall,1980)
Mediated in media product how people are represented in the film, any stereotype or countertypes for example a women is the stronger then the men. Tessa Perkins 1979 not all stereotype are negative this means they are mainly true or not false.
Talk about the representation of women are they a trigger for male gaze Mulvey 1975 or representation for men (Earp and Kartz, 1999) equation of masculinity with pathological control and violence. so the men in my film show there dominance. (Alvarado (1987) - ethnicity , exotic dangerous humorous pitied. I have 4 black people and mostly white this shows that it represents that there have different culture so they all believe in different culture also the black people speak with an accent

3.Relevant legal or ethical issues
legal- copyright infringement = when someone uses content like a soundtrack without permission. the consequence of this is that you can be fined or sued. the main worry in the film industry is illegal downloading this will make the film company lose profit as they are not getting the right amount of money for the product.
ethical- offensive material for example there might be offensive language or use of racism also drug use sexual references it might be a religious reason or maybe age. sensationalism this is when it shows violence and gore this is when we have over the top drama. censorship- has the film been censored has any of my film removed or reedited. they would be reference  in the credits in the film.

  • give two examples of what the film would need the copy right for. so would it cost
  • is there any offensive scenes and link it up to BBFC two examples
