Maze Runner
http://bit.ly/MazeRunnerDHD
1.Purpose
The purpose of this film is to entertain the viewers
It is entertaining when he learns the ways of the maze and getting pursued by grievers.
This film has been made to entertain the audience to bring a new idea to the screens and because the company has the money to do this work.
The film has a mass audience.
My film was made to make a profit
20th century fox are a conglomerate so they just want to make money.
2.genre
Daniel Chandler (2001) stated that genre means type of category
My genre of my film is action and thriller this makes it a hybrid this means it has to genres put together and it is a sub genre this means it is a genre in a genre  = this is what Barry Keith Grant (1995) said. the genre is aimed t people who like the concept of chances and crazy thriller parts the film has some jumpy bits in it which scare the audience.
types of genre: action, adventure, SIFI, fictional, horror, thriller, comedy, romance, drama, musical, med evil
the things that make this an action film is the scenes when he is learning how to run and fight grievers.
3. Form
My film is 113 minutes long this makes it a feature film because it is long.
My film has been distributed in many places like TV, DVD, Cinema and Downloadable content.
SKY movies does show this on TV and Cinemas like Savoy, Cineworld , Odeon, View
4. Style
M film looks futuristic as it has many special effects. it does not look verisimilitude and they do this because of the way they made the film. the film looks futuristic when all the walls move and when they finally get out of the maze it looks post apocalyptic and has giant skyscrapers which look very creative and all the technology they use in the control room looks really new but complicated.
when they firstly enter the Glade a boy called Thomas.
5.Content
what is the narrative of my film
narrative structure how is it put together.
Todorov (1977) he theories are that folk tales in community and he said every stories have key stage. there are 5 key stages in a story
1.The equilibrium. there is a balance. everything is good and nice. The love story would be a good example at the start.
2. disequilibrium "enigma" (the problem)
3.resolution solving of the "enigma" similar to the equilibrium.
new type of the equilibrium
classic hollywood structure.

how does it reinforce representations of people
location
locations are a great way of encoding and creating verisimilitude / be aspirational to the audience
2 important locations in my film and denoted and connoted.
what does it represent about the people in it.
costume/make up
costume reflects the diegesis and it shows upper-class and lower-class which reinforces binary opposition. the costume represented the mood of the character. how does the costume reflect the target audience. costume is done on purpose because you are ask to wear it and clothes are day to day basis.
